On May 31 a victim had their wallet stolen while at a doctors appointment at a location off W Emerald in Boise. The victim’s wallet included multiple credit cards, medical cards, and their Idaho driver’s license. One of the victim’s cards was used for purchases in Boise and Caldwell. Officer were able to work with the business to obtained pictures of a suspect and their vehicle, while appears to me a Mazda 3.

Officers took a report of a commercial burglary that occurred between 3pm on June 1 and 7am on June 2. Unknown subjects stolen paint and other construction items from a site on S. 10th street.
Working with the victim, officers were able to obtain pictures of two vehicle associated to the thefts, a white Chevy S-10 and a white and red full sized single cab truck.

In the early morning hours of Monday May 20, a victim had their wallet stolen from their vehicle while parked in front of their home off W. Fig St. in Boise. The victim’s credit card was used later that day at multiple locations around Boise, including a retailer of W. Franklin Rd. where pictures were obtained of the suspect and their vehicle.
The suspect’s vehicle appears to be a red Honda Pilot with extensive front-end damage.

Boise Police is investigating after someone fired a bullet through the window of a business on the 9100 block of West Fairview Avenue. No one was in the building at the time. An investigation shows the shot was likely fired around 3:45 am on 5/15/2022. The bullet went through the window and hit a wall inside the building. Nearby surveillance video shows a white car, possibly a sedan, traveling west on Fairview at the time. In the video you can hear what sounds like a gun shot. Detectives ask anyone else with surveillance video in the area of Fairview between Maple Grove and Five Mile to check for video of vehicles or suspicious activity around 3:45am on 5/15/2022. On Friday May 6, officers responded to an alarm at a business off N. Milwaukee St at 4:45am. Upon arriving at the location officers discovered the front glass door had been shattered and merchandise was taken from the business. Upon reviewing video a subject was observed shattering the front door and entering the business with two empty containers. The subject quickly fills both containers with merchandise and exits the location prior to officer arrival.

On Saturday May 7, just before 7am, officers responded to the report of a robbery at a pharmacy off W. Fairview Ave. in Boise. Two suspects, who were described by witnessed as African American males, entered the pharmacy wearing black masks and hooded sweatshirts. They jumped the pharmacy counter and demanded prescription drugs from the staff. After obtaining the drugs the two males exited the location, proceeding north bound from the business on foot.

On April 9 at 8pm, officers responded to a report of an attempted break in at a home off W. Granger St. in Boise. The victim stated he heard someone knock on the front door, shortly followed by a crash. Going to the back door, the victim observed someone attempting to break into the residence. Upon seeing the victim, the person ran from the backyard along with another male. The victim was able to use their cell phone to record the male attempting to break in.
